UPDATE
The recycling industry continues to evolve.
Unfortunately, as you may know, in recent years, the marketplace
for empty printer cartridges has changed dramatically. Not only
has the largest remanufacturer of printer cartridges stopped
collecting cartridges, but the Post Office has instituted
numerous rate increases that more than doubled the cost of
returning an empty printer cartridge.
It has been a challenge for the recycling industry as a
whole to conduct business profitably and we are no different. We regret
that we are unable to provide payments for cartridges returned but will
continue to provide recycling services at no cost as we continue to
support a future for greener living throughout our planet.
We sincerely appreciate your past participation and hope
that you will continue to support our recycling commitment. Not so many
years ago, waste was the environmental issue. If you recycled, you were
green. If you didn't, you weren't. With so many topics on the
environmental agenda these days, things aren't so simple. But waste is
still a big deal. Every item thrown away has taken energy and resources
to manufacture and transport, and it will take even more energy and
resources to process and dispose of, whether through landfill or
recycling. So the old adage still rings true: reduce, reuse, recycle.
With the utilization of our recycling program, your
organization will be sending an important message to others about
your focus on the environment and other global concerns.
At Recycle Free, we believe that our environment
is a special gift. Therefore, we believe it is our responsibility
to act responsibly in protecting that gift. We take that
responsibility very seriously and are working on ways to improve
our position to be more environmentally friendly with our
customers and suppliers.
You can make a difference and the process of
recycling can be a rewarding experience. Recycling isn't just good for business, it's the
correct approach in an effort to heal our environment. Make a

- RLAB-5 Cartridge Prepaid UPS Return Labels
Please ship all Inkjet and Laser cartridges to our facility in
Pennsylvania. Our program uses postage-paid cartridge UPS return
labels. Please note that Recycle Free does not ship empty Inkjet or
Laser collection boxes, nor do most companies in our industry. It is
cost prohibitive.

DESTROY ALL ENVIROSMART COLLECTION MATERIALS IMMEDIATELY.
DO NOT
USE THE MATERIALS.
How many labels will be sent to us?
Each package includes five (5) Model # RLAB-5 Cartridge Prepaid
UPS Return Labels. These return labels have been created for our
customers who have the cartridges already in bulk containers, not
individual cartridges. Please do not affix one label to the outside
of one Inkjet or Laser cartridge. Nor should you tape individual
cartridge boxes together.
Prepaid UPS return labels are ideal for all Inkjet and Laser
cartridge returns. Affix the label to any large box and place a
minimum of six (6) empty Laser cartridges in each box, a large
quantity of Inkjet cartridges or both. Tape the box shut and ship
the cartridges. It's just that simple.
Prepaid labels will be sent from our partner in Erie, PA.
How to Identify a
Virgin Cartridge
Free Program
Remember, there is nothing to purchase and there are no minimums
on most returns. No need to sort through them either, we will take
care of that for you. Our program currently recycles many
cartridges including Hewlett Packard, Canon, Lexmark, Panasonic and more.
We Accept Virgin Cartridges Only
In an effort to continue
our environmental service to you at no cost, Recycle Free must
enforce our new policy of not accepting remanufactured cartridges or
compatible cartridges.
In the past, Recycle Free maintained its policy to
accept all cartridges, including these non-virgin cartridges, all
while costs continued to increase. These non-virgin cartridges have
little or no value in the industry as they have been physically
altered in one way or another and will likely fail another
remanufacturing attempt.
Unlike other companies, we will recycle most of your cartridges. Although we do not pay your business or
fundraiser for cartridges submitted, we focus on the most
popular as these are re-manufactured and sold to office supply
dealers and distributors nationwide.
This is the most simplistic program for recyclers available today. We pay for the shipping
materials and freight
charges.
Quality Materials
We take pride in the value of our recycling programs and we
provide materials that work for you. Most of our materials have
full-color quality graphics that emphasize the importance of
recycling our waste. Basically put, these slick materials provide
you with a recycling program that is easy to manage.
All cartridges maintain some excess ink and toner. Thus the
process of recycling cartridges can be quite a mess if not for the
correct materials. Each of our materials help keep your recycling
area clean from excess ink and toner.
