CITY OF LOS ANGELES UPDATE The current contract with
the City of Los Angeles has expired. All City of Los Angeles
departments may continue to participate in our cartridge
recycling program. This program does not earn funds for the
City of Los Angeles or your department. Nonetheless, we
encourage you to reach your recycling goals which benefits
the environment for all Californians by reducing the amount
of waste going into landfills.

Mobile Phones.
Recycle

CARTRIDGE COLLECTION UPDATE 06/18/07
Recycle Free has updated their Inkjet & Laser cartridge
collection program. Our new program uses Prepaid cartridge
UPS return labels. Recycle Free does not ship empty Inkjet
mailers, Inkjet displays, Inkjet collection boxes, Laser
collection boxes or other similar materials. It is cost
prohibitive and most companies in our industry have ceased
distribution.
We will
continue to ship the following items:
1.
Prepaid cartridge UPS return labels for all Inkjet & Laser
cartridges.2. Collection boxes for Mobile Phones
PLEASE DESTROY
ALL ENVIROSMART COLLECTION MATERIALS IMMEDIATELY.
DO NOT USE THE
ENVIROSMART MATERIALS.
We
apologize for any inconvenience. This change does not affect
our inkjet cartridge or mobile phone recycling programs.
Thank you for your understanding.
We
Accept Virgin Cartridges Only
In an effort
to continue our environmental service to you at no cost,
Recycle Free must enforce our new policy of not accepting
remanufactured cartridges or compatible cartridges.
In the past,
Recycle Free maintained its policy to accept all cartridges,
including these non-virgin cartridges, all while costs
continued to increase. These non-virgin cartridges have
little or no value in the industry as they have been
physically altered in one way or another and will likely
fail another remanufacturing attempt.
